Though he came a little earlier than expected, his sturdy 16-pound birth weight set the tone—this boy has been strong, steady, and thriving ever since. Now running with our two other grey crias from this year, Grey Wind is learning the ropes, building confidence, and maturing into a well-balanced young male with a bright future. The trio is slated to make their debut in the spring show ring, pending continued growth and development. His dam, Sunny, has a consistent track record of producing quality offspring, and Grey Wind’s full sister, Black Skye, is already proving the strength of this pairing—adding even more confidence in what this young male will bring to the table. Charna produced a lovely true black boy for us just before an epic heat wave began a couple days later. Since Chris and Carol Howard made the awesome breeding decision for Charna, their farm name goes on for him. Our nod to their wonderful black breeding program we found an Irish name beginning with "C". And honestly, Cillian (Kill- ee-an) Murphy's portrayal of Tommy Shelby in Peaky Blinds was powerful! Cillian carries banner winning genetic from both mom and dad. Dad is Estate Sakima's Braxton co-owned by Cinco C's and Little Creek Farm. 5C's Charna is by Man of Steel and carries Silver Signature genetics from her grandfather on her mother's side. We'll enjoy watching him grow and plan for the spring 2027 show ring debut.
